Demi is a board-certified art therapist and licensed professional counselor in the state of PA. She holds a Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University. She oversees the creation and design of social-emotional and therapeutic content at HeyKiddo. In her work, she integrates knowledge and interventions from developmental, cognitive, behavioral and creative modalities. She has contributed to and presented on child development research topics and has worked with infants, children, adolescents, and adults. She believes that a strong foundation of social skills can foster on-going, long-term positive health outcomes for children, parents, and educators.
